Hello again to all my loyal readers... and the random visitors! Well I've learned a lesson recently: Never promise to start posting more because the moment you do, life gets hectic. I just finished an 8-day straight stint at my job and finally relaxing so I thought I should post something up.
While trying to think of something appropriate, I flipped on a country station on my iHeartRadio app and it hit me... I'm now listening to country! Yes, the guy that usually listens to mostly Christian rock has started listening to country music quite often. I find that I can identify with it much more than I thought -- I'm an outdoorsman at heart and many songs have that kind of theme...and many have some Christian lyrics as well.
The song I wanted to share with my readers here is the song that first got me into country. Here's the quick story: I was watching a few videos by Dave Canterbury on the wildernessoutfitters channel on YouTube and one of them had an intro song I really liked. So, I used my phone to listen and identify the song and it happened to be this one (they actually thank Dave in the video). I loved that song and started listening to more country and still am.
So here's the song that converted me to country -- "Back in the Woods" (aka "Living Good")j by Badhorse.
